University Health Services is responsible for the effective overall delivery of the University’s primary health care clinic and all related programs and services for over 21,000 graduate and undergraduate students. University Health Services delivers a proactive and comprehensive health outreach program aligned with contemporary student development theory and the annual student life cycle.
Reporting to the Executive Director, Student Services, the Director, Student Health develops, implements, and assesses a comprehensive student-focused clinical health services model. The Director provides institutional leadership and vision for University Health Services in an evolving student health and wellness framework. Leading a highly skilled and committed team of professionals, the Director strategically aligns the clinical health services model with the Wellness portfolio and campus wide strategies on complex student and public health issues.
The successful candidate will have a Master’s degree in a related field (i.e. health care administration, health care leadership). The successful candidate will have over seven years of progressive leadership in primary health care and/or working with the young adult population in a context relatable to the student health clinic. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated record of successfully leading, influencing, and supporting broader organizational goals, projects, and mandates related to primary health care.
