Who are we seeking?

We seek a motivated self-starter with an interest in conducting and publishing policy-relevant research. We want to work with a team member that is smart, conscientious, organized, and fun! She or he would work with us on empirical studies of equity in access to, use of, and outcomes from prescription drugs in British Columbia.

We seek someone who has initiative, creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work well with people. The ideal candidate will have an exceptional academic record, experience conducting empirical research on large datasets (ours have hundreds of millions of records), and a passion for conducting research that supports evidence-based policy. Periodic national and international travel to meetings and conferences will be required.

A renowned team. You would be joining an exceptionally productive research team that has achieved excellence in research, knowledge translation, and career growth for its members. Our team works for the public interest, with a core goal of creating and communicating scientific evidence to improve equity in access to necessary health care in Canada.

Healthy teamwork and autonomy. You will work with a group of bright self-starters, who support one another’s development. Our team regularly partners with national and international academic experts and policy-makers, providing opportunities for learning and new connections.
