The Canadian Patient Safety Institute (CPSI) is inviting Canadian organizations and graduate students/medical students to partner and apply for one of six Patient Safety Studentships for research that is focused on the “patient voice.”
Studentships are an important way to increase student capacity in applied patient safety research. They create new collaborative learning opportunities that raise awareness and facilitate implementation of ideas and best practices to achieve a transformation in patient safety.
Eligible organizations include universities, health regions, hospitals, non-governmental and/or not-for-profit private organizations. Eligible graduate students include those in any field of health science, as well as other disciplines (including but not limited to psychology, sociology and/or human factors engineering) who are registered as full- or part-time students during the period of the award. The application deadline is October 21, 2014.
